Terry Donnelly lives on Vashon Island in the heart of Puget Sound with his wife and photography partner Mary Liz Austin. Over the past fifteen years they have traveled and photographed extensively in North American national parks and the American countryside.

For Coffee and Community: The Vashon Island Coffee Roasterie in Words & Photos (Chatwin, 2016), Donnelly turned his lens closer to home to create an intimate photographic portrait of the iconic Vashon Coffee Roasterie, birthplace of Seattle's Best Coffee, and the diverse, creative and eccentric regulars who make it their second home.

Donnelly's and Austin's images appear in numerous calendars, books and cards by Sierra Club, Audubon, Barnes and Noble, American Greetings, Hallmark, National Geographic Books, Outside Magazine, Reiman Publications, and Brown Trout Publishers.
